At the former Nespresso outlet in the Pitt St Westfield, we removed a 2 storey internal lift shaft.
The work required us to safely dismantle and remove the lift car, the remaining shaft then patch the concrete slabs to convert the double story retail space into two separate units.
The process involved suspending the car from the utility beam and then lowering it safely to dismantle and remove from the shaft. Our Husqvarna DXR 140 easily and quietly removed the shaft and surrounds with the concrete crushing attachment. Once this was completed formwork and a concrete pour completed the work providing a blank canvas for the client and new occupiers.
